I wasn't sure how long I needed to process it for,
so I stopped after about 7 minutes when the mixture was still rather crunchy but continued processing for another 4 - 5 minutes until I was left with smooth and
creamy almond butter.
I didn't have any
almond butter so reluctantly tried it with all natural
creamy peanut
butter!

My local market was out of
creamy almond butter,
so I was forced to use crunchy, and they still turned out great.
Almond butter is a pantry staple, but this macadamia cashew
butter is
so creamy and delicious it's a nice alternative.
I'm a bit obsessed with
creamy almond butter because I just started to be able to digest / tolerate nuts as of last year,
so now I'm putting warm
almond butter on everything I eat.
I didn't have much (vegan)
butter to make a
creamy texture
so I added some olive oil and
almond milk instead.
I made these but must have used a
creamier than usual
almond butter (subbed for the cashew
butter)
so instead I put the batter into 12 muffin cups and made them as muffins.
At first, I called it
almond butter, but these
almonds have been soaked and squeezed to make milk (a very similar process to the hazelnut milk I posted recently),
so the result isn't something super, super
creamy.
This
Almond Butter Banana Smoothie probably could have been called a banana cream milkshake because it is
so thick +
creamy.
But this Pumpkin
Almond Butter is
SO damn dreamy and
creamy and perfect that I wanted to drizzle it on everything.
