The dual - LED «ring
flash» does a decent job
of lighting up dark scenes without
creating horrible shadows, but the color tone is a little too cool, and there's still too much noise in the image.
While this works in some capacity, it's far too strong
of a
light, and both causes people squint to see the camera, as well as
create that awful harsh
flash look in photos.
And with the connectivity feature
of the Hue system comes the ability to
create your own «
light notifications» — set your
lighting system to gently dim or
flash if you have received an email or other similar alert.
