No point in
creating liquid fuel for electric vehicles, right?
'' (The) bug would skip the whole photosynthetic sugar - making step... Instead the bug would
create liquid fuels directly from hydrogen and carbon dioxide,» Forbes says.

Initially, the researchers have focused on the combustion of
liquid fuel sprays found in engines, where the extreme pressures and temperatures
create an environment that is optically challenging.
In addition to the biocrude, the
liquid phase can be treated with a catalyst to
create other
fuels and chemical products.
But now, researchers have taken a more sizable jump with solar panels,
creating a hybrid device that uses a combination of catalysts and microbes to convert 10 % of the captured solar energy into
liquid fuels and other commodity chemicals.
A GE Energy Jenbacher gas engine is powering the world's first commercial landfill gas (LFG)- to -
liquid natural gas (LNG) conversion facility designed to
create alternative
fuel for vehicles.
Created in 2007, the Bioenergy Research Centers (BRCs) work together to address the most significant challenges standing in the way of affordable, sustainable and scalable advanced
liquid transportation
fuels.
Your body is
created to process whole, organic ingredients as natural
fuel, not to chug chemically
created liquids as fake insta -
fuel.
Nor does it apparently intend to directly, materially * reduce * the CO2 in the atmosphere (i.e. the reason for «
creating»
liquid hydrocarbon
fuels would primarily be for transportation, so burning them would re-release the CO2, uncaptured, back into the atmosphere).
The team at Air
Fuel Synthesis (AFS) has
created a system for using renewable energy to power the capture of CO2 and water, which is then transformed into
liquid hydrocarbon
fuels that can be used directly in gasoline engines.
So, if you could
create liquid hydrocarbons that are compatible with gasoline cars, then the adoption cycle would be a lot easier than switching over to electric or hydrogen or some other type of
fuel for cars.

Creating liquid hydrocarbon
fuels from this source (along with LNG) would eliminate the need for expensive power storage for vehicles.
Chesapeake Energy Corporation plans to
create a $ 1.0 - billion venture capital fund over the next 10 years, Chesapeake NG Ventures Corporation (CNGV), dedicated to identifying and investing in companies and technologies that will replace the use of gasoline and diesel with natural gas and natural gas - to -

These economic reforms can and should include carbon pricing,
creating more

fuels.
My own research (published elsewhere) says raising taxes (stepped, not instantaneous) on
liquid transportation
fuels (not all carbons) to roughly European levels
creates economic incentives to change before there is pain.
Undoubtedly these are early days, and many challenges remain in
creating truly sustainable biofuels, and certainly in
creating truly sustainable aviation — but unlike land and sea transportation, airlines have very few if any alternatives to
liquid fuels, so initiatives like this are an encouraging sign that aviation may be able to weather the inevitable transition to a post fossil -
fuel economy.
Well, in my opinion, it means we need to treat our
liquid fuels (with high - energy density) as very precious resources as we have yet to prove that we can
create a renewable
liquid fuel even nearly equivalent to gasoline (petrol) or diesel.
