creative pursuits such as art or writing, changing one's
thought process from catastrophizing to more realistic or hopeful
thoughts; all can be effective ways to manage ones stress level.

thinks outside the box», when needing to come up with solutions to specific struggles.
I like the idea of using metaphors in
therapy, so that I can
think in different and
creative ways about the situations facing me or my relationship.
