Bake the slices in a 300 ˚ F oven for about 15 minutes, flip, and bake another 10 minutes, until
crisp and
dark brown (be careful not to burn them — it's a fine
line!).
Once hot, add the sage leaves and cook until
dark and
crisp (about 1 minute) then remove with metal tongs to a plate
lined with paper towel.
I also love mixing unexpected elements, so we chose a stunning church venue with
crisp white walls, stunning chandeliers and shiny
dark timber floors... then added a grass aisle topped with these gently scattered rose petals from Simply Rose Petals, gold mason jars filled with fresh cut flowers
lined the aisle and the warm glow of candles flickered from the fireplace at the centre of the room.
I realize it's intimidating to many, but it's truly the only product that I think gives that
crisp line and
dark pigment!
