In a large skillet over medium high heat, saute tomatoes and garlic in olive oil and butter with
red crushed pepper flakes and thyme (use the sprig as well because the flavor is great).
For spicier flavor, add a pinch or two of
crushed pepper flakes into your slow cooker along with the Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
Aglio e olio is one of my fave things to eat, I always
add crushed pepper flakes, so sriracha pasta is such a good idea, I need to make this!
Mash each potato with the back off a spatula and sprinkle some mozzarella cheese, spinach, parmesan cheese followed by some salt and
crushed pepper flakes to each potato.
Serve with a squeeze of lime juice and
some crushed pepper flakes (use purchased crushed red pepper flakes or see below to make your own).
I also did not have oregano on hand so I subbed with an italian spice blend, and I did not have crushed red pepper but I had
crushed pepper flakes..
