Oat Bran leftovers strained
out of liquid can be frozen and used in future
cookies, pie
crusts, etc..
So when I saw the ingredients
of this
cookie that it included NO FLOUR but only graham cracker
crust I knew I had to try this
out.
I never had pumpkin cheesecake before, I made this one yesterday, my husband and I just had a piece it is
out of this world, I didn't have gingersnap
cookies so I had to use graham crackers I added a little bit
of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice and ginger to the
crust and mine did crack a little even with the water bath, that's ok, it gets eaten anyway.
This pastry cloth and board make quick work
of rolling
out everything from GF pie
crust and GF crackers and GF cutout
cookies and GF tortillas.
Instead
of throwing the ruined
cookie out I chopped it fine in the food processor and used it for the
cookie crust.
Now you'll need to move the
crust out of the 8 × 8 pan and onto an ungreased, unlined
cookie sheet.
Hi Ali, I would do it similarly to how I do my gingersnap

crust-and-raspberry-sauce/ Basically, what you do is pulse graham crackers in the food processor until it's ground up into a fine crumb, then you mix in a few tbsp
of melted butter (3tbsp per cup
of ground crumbs), and then you can press it
out into your pan.
Also, I used ginger snaps for the
crust and it turned
out really crispy like a
cookie instead
of a
crust.
I didn't think much
of it but when I made chocolate cut -
out cookies with the butter, the
cookies spread a lot and had many small holes, just like the pie
crust.
Once
crust and fudge have cooled, spread half
of the softened pink peppermint ice cream on top
of the
cookie crust, evening
out the top with an offset spatula.
To puree soups and sauces, make smoothies, crumb graham crackers,
cookies or nuts for
crusts, and some
of it actually turns
out okay lol.
Place the
cookie dough in top
of the Oreo
crust, and carefully press
out towards to edges
of the pie plate.
Using a 3/4» - diameter pastry tip or
cookie cutter, punch
out holes in remaining
crust, covering an area just smaller than the diameter
of pie dish.
Using a round
cookie or biscuit cutter (approximately 3 inches diamater) cut at least 24 rounds
out (or 12 rounds
of each pie
crust, if using store bought)
Slowly and gently pour the cheesecake batter over the top
of the
cookie crust, with a spatula spread the batter
out so it is evenly distributed and tap the pan on the countertop to remove any air bubbles.
A simple
crust made
out of shortbread
cookies, some sweet caramel and decadent ganache complete these chocolate salted caramel tarts.
