The fields
of culinary science and physiology are increasingly merging as we learn more about the biological nature of taste and the perception of flavors.
After I obtained a degree
in culinary sciences from a leading culinary school in the state, I began working as an assistant cook in a fine dining restaurant.
This forced me to take out more student loans than I might otherwise have needed, and it also forced me to relocate to yet another school for a second degree
in culinary science.
