I. Introduction The most substantive portion
of the Brightman - Hartshorne correspondence took place from November 1933 through the
summer of 1944.1 The major
events in Europe and Asia during this time are well known, including the rise
of Nazi Germany and the expansion
of the Japanese Empire,
culminating in World War II.
A
culminating event to the
summer academy is the development
of an individualized action plan for each teacher to identify appropriate professional growth and support needed to actualize their implementation
of project lessons and resources.
