You'll probably need about 1/2 cup — 2/3
cup of honey Since it does add some moisture to the recipe, be sure to keep some extra oat flour or protein powder on hand.
I also scaled back about a 1/4
cup of honey since I prefer my granola a little less sweet.

I added another 1/4
cup of shredded coconut, some cacao nibs, 1/4 tsp espresso, about 1 Tbsp
honey (used fewer dates
since they are so expensive), and 1 tsp
of coconut oil for extra flavor.
I just wanted to add that I reduced the amount
of milk in the recipe when I used 1/2
cup honey and no sugar
since that already adds a bit more liquid.
I also used 1/3
cup of honey for the maple syrup
since I ran out.
** I prefer a less sweet brownie, especially
since I always put chocolate chips into my brownies, so I actually only use 1/3
cup of honey, but I find that when I bake for others they are used to a sweeter baked good.
The only deviation I made was replacement
of honey with Sukrin Gold syrup, and only 1/2
cup since my husband is diabetic.
If you want to use
honey in the filling, 1/3
cup instead
of 1/2
cup of sugar would probably work but
since I haven't tried it, I'm not sure what effect it'd have on the texture.
I also used only 1c
of white sugar and increased the
honey to 1.5
cups since I really wanted a strong
honey flavor.
