cup of
soup until you can pass a test on chapter 2; not even the denominational - equivalent of the confession clearly in sight; but the Gospel.
Puree this
soup until desired consistency, I used my little 2
cup food processor in two batches, but feel free to use your nifty stick blender if you have one of those guys.
Place your corn purée and your squash purée back into the
soup pot, stir
until blended, and add 2
cups of water, Warm
until heated through.
Add the heaped
cup of diced vegetables and continue to simmer the
soup until the added vegetables are slightly softened.
Cream of Chicken
soup substitute 1 3/4
cup cool water 5 TBS white bean flour (small white beans grinded in wheat grinder - on coarse setting) 2 garlic cloves, minced Approx. 3 TBS Chicken - Like Seasoning or 1 1/2 TBS
Soup base... to taste (I usually use a little of both
until I reach the desired taste)
Stir in 1/4
cup chopped cilantro and corn kernels, then continue to heat
soup until very hot.
Add the broth a 1/2
cup at a time
until you get the desired consistency and do not add it all if the
soup reaches the desired thickness with a lesser amount.
Using a ladle, slowly stir in about 1-1/2
cups of broth from the
soup,
until the roux is quite thin.
Add the broth, lentils, and carrots; bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low to maintain simmer and cook
until lentils are soft, about 30 to 40 minutes (Note: this makes a thick
soup - if you want a thinner consistency, add a
cup or two more broth).
Stir in olive oil, season the mixture lightly with salt and continue to simmer
until the liquid portion of the
soup base is reduced to about 8
cups, about 20 minutes.
In a covered
soup pot, simmer the onions, garlic, serrano, and salt in 1
cup of the vegetable stock for about 10 minutes or
until the onions soften.
If you are using a regular blender: just transfer 3
cups of the
soup mixture into your blender and blend
until thick and combined.
But I like parts of the mushroom in my
soup so think I'll keep pureeing a
cup at a time
until I achieve the proper thickness.
However, feel free to stir in half a
cup or so of cheddar - style vegan cheese into the
soup once it's finished cooking and stir
until melted.
If the
soup feels too thick, stir in 1/4
cup of vegetable broth at a time
until you've reached the desired consistency.
Here is what I did: Threw all this in the crockpot on high for 3 - 4 hours (to cook chicken) then lowered
until ready to serve a couple hours later) Chopped up 2 chicken breasts, red and orange bell pepper, yellow onion, asparagus, a clump (literally it was clumped together and at least 1 1/4
cup) of frozen corn, 1 can ortega chiles, 2 cans cream of chicken
soup, filled 1 can with water, filled 1 can 2 times with almond milk, 2 tsp granulated chicken broth, 2 pinches cayenne pepper, 1 tsp ground pepper.
Place about 2 1/2
cups of the
soup into a blender and blend
until smooth.
Blend 1
cup of the
soup with 2
cups of the boiled chickpeas
until smooth and add this paste to the pot, stirring to combine.
Add a
soup ladle (about 1/2
cup) of warm stock to the frying pan, turn the heat down to a simmer and stir
until the stock is absorbed, then add another ladle of stock.
If the
soup feels too thick, stir in 1/4
cup of vegetable broth at a time
until the consistency feels right.
Strain the
soup stock into a large pot or dutch oven, add the fish sauce, and cook over high heat
until the liquid reduces to roughly 12
cups.
Once the beans are tender, transfer one
cup of the
soup to a blender along with the remaining 1/2
cup of broth and 4 - 6 cloves of roasted garlic, and blend
until smooth.
Purée, adding 1/2 to 1
cup (125 to 250 mL) water,
until it reaches the texture of a smooth, thick
soup.
Ladle 3
cups of the
soup into a blender and process for 1 minute, or
until velvety smooth.
If you prefer a thinner consistency
soup, add more broth or water to the pot, just 1/2
cup at a time
until the
soup is the consistency you'd like.
If you would like to stretch this
soup, add up to 1
cup of the reserved chicken bone broth
until it reaches your desired consistency.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together hash brown potatoes, 1
cup of French's ® Crispy Jalapeños, shredded cheese, onion, cream of chicken
soup, and sour cream
until combined well.
While the
soup is cooking, add the cashews, nutritional yeast, miso, water and 1/2
cup of the
soup broth (just scoop it from the pot) into a high - powered blender and blend on high
until smooth and creamy.
Using a ladle, slowly stir in about 1-1/2
cups of broth from the
soup,
until the roux is quite thin.
Bring the
soup to a boil, add the chicken,
cup of reserved pasta water, and underdone orzo and stir frequently
until orzo is al dente.
