The project space's first few shows have focused on younger black artists who have had little market exposure, such as the Yale MFA student Vaughn Spann and painter and sculptor Leonardo Benzant, subjects of the current show «Homeostasis,» curated by black curator and Aljira Center director Dexter Wimberly.
The exhibition will be curated by the renowned contemporary painter and one of Belgium's foremost artists, Luc Tuymans, who will bring a fresh perspective to the selection and presentation of Ensor's work.
Six Painters and the Object curated by IG's Lawrence Alloway marks the high point of Pop Art with work by Jim Dine, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist and Andy Warhol included.
