Early this Fall, Independent Curators International (ICI) was in residence at the South London Gallery (SLG) which created an open forum for reflection on current
curatorial practices by inviting curators from its network to collaborate on research into what it means to be working internationally today.
Project Curate provides a class of advanced art students from Juan Morel Campos High School an opportunity to experience contemporary
curatorial practices by working closely with a professional curator for the whole school year, culminating with an exhibition at NURTUREart Gallery.

The exhibition is curated

Curatorial Practice (Contemporary Art) programme, established jointly between the University of Glasgow and Glasgow School of Art.
The first show here (curated
by Vasif Kortun, director of the museum) was, appropriately, a reflection on
curatorial practices.
Founded in 2013
by art critic and curator iLiana Fokianaki and based in the neighbourhood of Koukaki at the centre of Athens, it is an independent platform aiming to foster the appreciation for local and international contemporary art and the growth of artistic and
curatorial practice.

Copiously illustrated, the book offers a timely re-evaluation of Takamatsu's
practice following a significant resurgence of appreciation for the Japanese avant - garde, and features essays
by Hiroyuki Nakanishi, Curator of the National Museum of Art, Osaka, Jordan Carter,
Curatorial Fellow for the Visual Arts, Walker Art Center, and the late Takamatsu.
The presentation will include a responsive Q&A session convened
