The curatorial team will combine an exhaustive study of contemporary Latin America artists with proposals from galleries in order to arrive at a selection of the most relevant and most representative work from throughout the region.

Hayward Touring was pleased to announce the winner of the 2014 Curatorial Open exhibition from a submission of more than 130 proposals.

A flyer from the then just relaunched Free Gallery requesting curatorial proposals came across her desk.

The winner will be awarded: 1) a letter of award signed by the panel of judges; 2) the winning curatorial proposal will be designed as an online exhibition on Artsy.net; and 3) a curatorial fellowship and honorarium enabling the winner to select works from the Rauschenberg Foundation Shuffle artwork lending library to curate an exhibition at the winner's academic institution.
