Of course, not everyone embraces searing social commentary and indeed, the need to escape current events may be why fantasy and science fiction fared exceptionally well, with The Lord of the Rings, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Game of Thrones and the Harry Potter series all making it into the top ten.

Subaeria's premise is brilliant and has loads of potential but its poorly executed roguelike structure, lack of tutorial, and severe glitches make it a tough game to recommend in its current state.

Deficiencies in other areas of the game hamper its appeal as a total package, making it difficult to recommend as more than an alternative to its competition, but it's still important to recognize this may finally be the turnaround year that NBA Live has been seeking since the current console generation began.

There is the potential that new modes, courts and characters through post-release support could make the game more appealing, but the core gameplay may not be good enough for those with current - day expectations of traditional sports games to give it much time to improve.

I'm on the fence on this one... recently I've been playing tougher, longer games, (Wolfenstein, RE5 etc.) and Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs was a nice break from that and although the dialogue is often times completely irrelevant to the current situation, a good selection of funny weapons and a collectables system with alternate ending make this game fun... I thoroughly enjoyed the 12 hours of gameplay that it did offer but it's really hard to get attached to something that doesn't stay around too long... I have a Gamepass from Blockbuster which allows me unlimited game rentals.

I'm still not sure what to make of certain moments, certain decisions I'd been asked to make early on, but I couldn't shake Kojima's current reality with the situations presented in his game.

But the downside of something custom - made for the Switch is that if the game compares unfavorably to its siblings on the existing current - generation platforms — if it just feels different rather than special — then it's unlikely to catch on.

But stating you rather play Dungeon Keeper and believe it is a better game has made all of you current, past, and future comment a fart in the wind.
