PUFAs
During my
dive into the
current research, I came across a small study from the Netherlands that suggests we should also enjoy polyunsaturated fatty acids, or PUFAs, found in fish and in many nuts and seeds.

However, the best time and weather to
dive in is
during the dry season (from April to October), as the visibility is better and the

during the main season are off - limits to tech divers due to strong
currents and highly unpredictable conditions.

current during a drift
dive.
It's an easy drift
dive as it's well protected by the strong winds
during the southwest monsoon season, and also because it's not greatly affected by the
currents.
Flat calm sea, strong
current, fairly good visibility... those were the conditions when last Sunday,
during a
dive at Miyaru Kandu, Enrico, our instructor and
dive center manager at TGI Alimatha, slowly moved his fists in disbelief up to his ears — the international diving sign for a Hammerhead Shark sighting!
The fame comes from its topography as a colorful ridge runs west - east hosting soft coral, gorgonians, hard coral and, with a gentle
current, as it was the case
during our
dive, schooling fish.
During the first part of the
dive, though, our groups had the opportunity to see some action among the
currents, including a large school of Yellowtail Fusiliers being chased by jacks and also a school of both Chevron and Pick - handle Barracudas.

dive.

dive.
