Attacking with the cursor positioned to an enemy's left flank will make you attack from that direction, while holding
the cursor over the enemy will allow you to block incoming attacks.

Combat here is largely in real - time with your group of up to four heroes having a maximum of three special skills mapped to their little sections of the screen at any given time, but you can also access these by holding a key while hovering
over an
enemy or friendly to bring up a contextual radial menu that will display defensive abilities or offensive ones based on what the
cursor is above.
The biggest flaw here is that in order to target a specific
enemy, say the healer in a group, you have to be able to select them using the
cursor and press X on them once you're hovering
over them in order to prioritize them.
The aim of the game was to sweep your
cursor over as much of the screen as possible, snagging as many
enemies as possible.
