Smittie, the jeggings and leggings «fit» over
curvier bottom halves - but liking the visual «sausage casing» effect is not universal.
I'm also different to Gretchen in that I have come to love emphasising
my curvy bottom half — which means having pencil skirts / dresses tailor made or making adjustments to off - the - rack items.
There is something about revealing the neckline and balancing
the curvier bottom half with a flowy top that just makes so much sense to me.

I think it would look adorable on someone taller with a less -
curvy figure but on me it just made my
bottom half look really, really wide.
The skirt is meant to be body - hugging and for me that causes issues; my
bottom half is just as
curvy as my upper
half.
Fitness (or lack thereof) aside, I've always been a little
curvier in the
bottom half aka baby got back and hips and thighs.
