The fit and finish is still a class above with that gorgeously
curvy aluminium
back and simple
glass front combining to make the device feel like it's completely solid.
This year's Samsung Galaxy A7 comes with add - ons over its predecessor like a sleek metal and
glass body with a
curvier back, IP68 dust and waterproof rating.
With a big, 5.9 - inch screen in front;
curvy, 2.5 D rounded
glass on its sides; and smooth, brushed aluminum on the
back, the Mate 9 certainly has the feel of a premium device.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus has a similar but slightly less angular design than the Galaxy Note 8, as both phones have a
glass back, a metal frame and a
curvy screen with small bezels above and below.
Clearly, the borders are at least a little slimmer, the edges a tad
curvier and the
glass window on the
back significantly shorter.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a high - end but familiar design, with a
glass back, a metal frame and a
curvy screen, similar to the Galaxy S8.
For the U11's
back, HTC started with a single flat sheet of Gorilla
Glass 3 and squashed it into progressively
curvier molds to form a smooth, rounded
back that looks more like sci - fi jewel scarab than a piece of consumer tech.
