the cut side of the squash, then lay it cut side down in the casserole dish.

the cut sides of the squash and sprinkle a little bit of salt over top as well.
Oil
the cut side of the squash with ghee or coconut / olive oil and bake cut side down for 20 to 30 minutes or until soft throughout.
Lightly oil
the cut side of the squash and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
