With all
models, power
still comes from the combined efforts of a 1.8 - litre Atkinson - cycle four -
cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor, but there have been numerous tweaks to the system — all in the name of fuel efficiency.
Those concerned from time to time about the environment can take comfort in the fact this version will not be any thirstier than the base V8
model; the company suggests the souped - up V8 will
still return 20 mpg on the highway with some extra economy permitted by the
cylinder deactivation feature.
The most grunt is available from the XC90 T8

The base LX
model is

While the TDI diesel
