Initially this appears to be a potentially bad place for a supercar (even one with the relatively diminutive footprint of the Gallardo), as you twist and turn through a
dark rabbit warren of
trees, but stick with it, because after Massa Marittima the road melts outwards, the sky reappears and you find yourself released into a Tuscan wonderland of soft light and rustic hillsides topped with
cypress - guarded farms.
