KEY QUALIFICATIONS • 6 months» work experience as an Animal Technician for Pets and Vets • Proficient in providing husbandry and cleaning services to animals in the facility • Highly skilled and trained in veterinary procedures pertinent to the work • Good knowledge of providing
daily animal care with regards to feeding, watering and housing
Our volunteer co-ordinators operate the scheme in their local area by providing administrative support, while the carers
provide daily animal care.
We offer career opportunities from entry level to highly - experienced, including veterinary care, customer service, animal behavior, fundraising,
daily animal care, marketing, volunteer management, humane education, maintenance, research, teaching, training and community relations.
Students will also earn community service hours by assisting shelter workers in
the daily animal care tasks.
