Just so we're clear - this is
dairy kefir, not water, which is not allowed
on the GAPS intro diet.
I found out early
on my path to healing that my body doesn't do well with
dairy, so I had to go far beyond yogurt and
kefir.
The products were divided into categories based
on dairy types and fat content: milks, yogurts, Greek yogurts,
kefirs, creams, processed cheeses, fresh cheeses, blue cheeses, soft cheeses, semi-soft cheeses, and hard cheeses.
This is due to the fact that Milk
Kefir reintroduces some of the healthy bacteria that, like other fermented
dairy products such as cheese and yogurt, are easier
on the digestive system.
