We're a couple of weeks late on that, but our ground was not prepared and it was still very
damp on our clay soil!

clay, and they early learned to write
on it while it was still
damp, then bake it in the fire, thus rendering it relatively permanent.
To reach it, Bland rode
on a quad bike through the sweltering desert (it's summer Down Under), navigating the
damp clay until he arrived at a small cavity in the ground.

Simply brush
on the white paint and then using a
damp sponge, dab and wipe until you get an aged look allowing some of the
clay color to show through.
