The chassis has received a hardened state of tune too, with a modified Electronic Stability Control programme and optimised air spring and
damper rates giving the GT3 - R a track focused setup.

damper rates to
give the 86 a little more body control, hopefully without taking away its tail - happy attitude.
In this specification it's the only car here with fixed -
rate dampers (adaptive
dampers are an optional extra) and that does
give it a slightly tauter ride than its rivals.
The suspension has been
given a comprehensive rethink, with strengthening added to the front and rear subframes, while the spring and
damper rates have been recalibrated all round.
