You can not judge by the
color, as it's all
dark brown from the chocolate, and if you judge by smell, it might be too late already, so start tasting the nuts
after 15 minutes.
After finding it and swatching, the
color wasn't very true and looked more like a
dark plummy
brown rather than a warm orangey
brown as in the tube.
Juxtaposing a
dark color (like the sandalwood) with a
color that is both light and
dark (
after all, burgundy is just bright red that they added some
brown to I think) is a cool way to have both elements blend together while also popping out.
I also asked for the
color to be subtle so
after bleaching they toned it out with a
dark brown rinse, I believe.
Brushing it off while the water / paint mixture was wet seemed to create a
darker brown color, and brushing it off
after the water / paint mixture had completely dried created more of a gray
color.
