I used 1/2
C dark chocolate almond milk instead of milk and skipped the powdered cocoa and I used 1 % milk to make the caramel sauce instead of heavy cream.
Using
dark chocolate almond milk means you don't need to add cocoa power or sugar, while the roasted coconut flakes and nutrient - dense almonds give these the crunch and flavor you'd expect.
It's high in protein, wonderful peanut flavor, but much less fat than peanut butter and thin enough to serve as a great sauce on this (I sometimes use Silk
Dark Chocolate Almond milk as my mix in).
