Actually xerblade it's not bulls *** at all, dark souls 3 on ps4 new at gamestop is around $ 30 but $ 60 on psn, digital sales stay expensive on console because sony, mircosoft, Nintendo etc, need those physical retailers to sell their hardware, vr, consoles etc, and those retailers make very little profit from that, they mainly get their money from game sells, so they can't give huge discounts like steam because they can't burn their relationship with retailers, steam doesn't have that issue because they don't sell at retailers so the middle man is cut out and steam can sell at what price they wish, if Sony made the prices cheaper no one would ever buy physical then retailers wouldn't carry their product because they would make no profit

The Dark Souls games are a little stiff.
Whilst Dark Souls prided itself on its stunning locales, exotic locations, and the beautiful vistas that surround you, Immortal Planet instead offers isometric environments that are a little less detailed.
Dark Souls always got it right by making it easy enough to follow a quick shortcut back to any bosses that might've beaten you with very little in the form of hindrances on the way.
With that said, some stages can be a little brutal (like friggin» Dark Souls brutal) which does require some strategy on behalf of the player but the glorious animation and whacky soundtrack more than make up for this layer of controller rage.
With Immortal Planet though it's more of a direct comparison — it's essentially an isometric, bite - size Dark Souls with its own little twists on the formula.
They lack that overwhelming allure that brought the world of Dark Souls to life, with everything feeling a little bit samey regardless of where you are — at least it never looks bad though.
