At passover, it was very common to make the tahini -
date syrup mixture and spread it on motzas, or make a cake - type thing by mixing it in motza crumbs.

I found I had to add some more coconut oil because otherwise the
mixture was too dry, and I also had to add some fruit
syrup, as the
dates I got were a bit dry and not sweet enough.
Once cool, simply blend the roasted hazelnuts in a food processor until they form a crumbly
mixture, then add the
dates and blend again before adding the cacao and maple
syrup.
I added one more
date and one more tablespoon of maple
syrup and added cacao powder to taste as I was making the
mixture.
I wanted to use up the almond pulp left over from making milk so I decided to add a cupful of finely chopped
dates, some grated coconut, a dash of maple
syrup, vanilla, & about a tablespoon of cacao; I used the blender so added a bit of wáter & a Little of the almond milk too......... made a fabulous mousse - like
mixture!
1 1/3 cups pecans 1 1/3 cups cup walnuts 1/4 teaspoon vanilla pinch of salt 1/2 cup diced crystallized ginger 1/3 cup packed
dates maple
syrup or agave to make
mixture sticky
Put the walnuts and
dates in a food processor with the maple
syrup and blend until the
mixture if finely chopped and all ingredients hold together.
If you'd prefer an unrefined sweetener, you can use 6 - 8 medjool
dates in place of the maple
syrup, but you'll need to transfer the
mixture to a high speed blender to get everything nice and smooth.
In a food processor, combine soaked
dates with roasted hazelnuts, cacao powder, maple
syrup and plant milk and blitz until the
mixture just starts coming together.
Add yoghurt, egg
mixture, ground almonds, and clear
date syrup and whisk for few minutes until completely smooth.

I would recommend dicing the
dates very finely and reducing the sugar to a couple of Tbsp in the
date - sugar - cinnamon
mixture (which calls for 1/3 cup), as they were totally over-the-top sweet as written - the
dates are very sweet and the
syrup is intensely so.

syrup and process on high for 3 - 5 minutes until the
mixture is fine and crumbly.
The base is a simple
mixture of Raw Cashews,
Dates, Maple
Syrup and Coconut Oil.
** For an extra-special treat: Try adding 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of vanilla, and 2 tablespoons of maple
syrup or 2 pitted
dates to the
mixture before blending.
Place almonds, walnuts, cacao powder,
date syrup, rolled oats and melted coconut cream in a food processor process until
mixture sticks together.
In a bowl of a mixer with a paddle - attachment whip butter, brown sugar,
date syrup, salt and vanilla until
mixture is creamy and very soft.

dates &

mixture together (remember, it's a lot drier when subbing protein powder for some of the nuts we see in «similar» recipes).
The second time I made these using only
date paste in place of the maple
syrup and I did add one egg to the
mixture.

The
date mixture, or
date paste, is simply made from
dates, maple
syrup and almond milk, stewed together over low heat for 15 - 20 minutes.
The bars are held together with a
mixture of almond butter and
date syrup.
Pour the
date syrup almond butter
mixture over the dry ingredients, and mix everything together.
