Our bedtime routine takes about 15 minutes, 95 % of the time my daughter is happy and chatty when I put her in the crib and
my daughter sleeps through the night and wakes up happy.
I am surprised at how rare it was for my family...
our daughter slept through the night the second week home, I had to wake her up to feed her, I would wake up to tears because of engorgement and ended up just pumping since trying to wake her up was just a terror in itself... so when my sisters had moved in with us right before they gave birth it was soo strange that to me that their daughters were up all night (even though I knew it was normal) I only hope that I will be blessed once again with our little man who is to make his appearance in August.
I agree all bubs are different and not stressing about it would have to help, but are you trying to say that because
my daughter sleeps through the night she lacks the will to survive??
We were looking for gentle methods to help our infant

Just to let everybody who's reading this know: my
daughter finally started
sleeping through the
night, waking up once a

If you're really lucky, they could be
sleeping through the
night at this age as my

After so much success in establishing our
daughter's
sleep habits — she was
sleeping through the
night at 3 months — we were cautiously optimistic about doing the same with our twins.

sleeps in are big enough now that this could continue indefinitely and we'd both still be able to hold down jobs and not go insane.

My baby is 3 wks old & I breastfeed her and I relate to all of you, my son (now 7) used to use me as a human pacifier for a long time but didn't mind, however, now with my
daughter,
nights seem longer and I am already tired from not
sleeping enough hours, no to mentioned my back and arms are sored from holding the baby to breastfeed and to go to
sleep most
through the
night.
Unfortunately I sound like a hypocrite, my
daughter is 3 now and she still will not
sleep through the
night, so I bought her a double bed, she goes to bed fine has about 4 hours and then gets me up.

sleep till 12 noon but it has gotten to the point where she only
sleeps from 4:30 am — 6:00 am I am always tired I feel like a robot.

Because of my oversupply with milk, I dealt with a lot of engorgement, especially when my

The way I see our
sleeping arrangement is that our

One of my best friends left her
daughter with me overnight when she was 11 months old, where she

night in a pack n play with no sadness or wake - ups.
After my
daughter started daycare she immediately started
sleeping through the

Time passed, and eventually my

I must sound like I'm a walking commercial for the website, because I have no doubt that these sounds are what taught my
daughter to

night so early, and what saved me from some serious
sleep - deprivation.

I've been very fortunate that my
daughter has

night (10 - 12 hours) since she was three months old (which makes up for the fact that she's really difficult the other 12 - 14 hours during the day).
After recognizing that my
daughter's needs had shifted — from needing to nurse frequently

night to needing a full
night's
sleep — I was able to see that what we'd created was a habit of waking that was no longer healthy for her.
One of the reasons we knew we could take on new foster babies, even when our
daughter wasn't yet a year old, was because she was already
sleeping through the
night.
We are two weeks into the program, and my
daughter is
sleeping through the
night every single
night, and taking her naps like clockwork.
