I dare say we've never needed
comfort food more than we have in the past four weeks, and at a time that's filled with plenty of challenging
days, the silver lining is that this is the right season for such meals.
Since we are in the cool
days of early spring, I used the cocottes for one last hearty batch of
comfort food, French onion soup.
This is my kind of winter
comfort food - especially for these crazy pre-Christmas
days!
Plus, it was creamy, cheesy and warm and made perfect
comfort food on a cold
day.
As an adult I'd also make it on
days that were rough,
comfort food!
This was a delicious dinner on a
day when I really needed some

This is
comfort food at its best, as far as I am concerned... Updated on December 1, 2016 with new pictures: I can't believe that I did a post with just hardly three lines as text during the first month of blogging... Tuna cutlets are definitely my favorite anytime, mainly due to the ease of making it, as well as the delicious taste anytime of the
day.
I don't know about you but there are
days when I just crave some good old fashioned
comfort food for breakfast.
All of that to say, your cook book is as beautiful as I expected and has such an awesome blend of daring new flavors and wonderful
comfort food, I'm pretty sure this will be my favorite cookbook to come back to forever, and hopefully one
day my children will beg for me to pass it on and I will greedily clutch it until my last
days.
It's a tuning into the senses, savouring a myriad of plant - based
foods that nourish and lighten the soul, the abundance of classic and sometimes unexpected flavours colouring the rest of your
