day of food blogging sessions!
In those first few
days of food blogging, I wanted to blog all the time; nothing could stop me, and I wanted every moment transcribed and logged onto this newfound space called Dish by Dish.

This is comfort
food at its best, as far as I am concerned... Updated on December 1, 2016 with new pictures: I can't believe that I did a post with just hardly three lines as text during the first month
of blogging... Tuna cutlets are definitely my favorite anytime, mainly due to the ease
of making it, as well as the delicious taste anytime
of the
day.
Speakers included Nat from Rubbish Eat Rubbish Grow, who spoke on the Singapore
blogging scene, and Australian organic
food pioneer Brenda Fawdon, who shared her
food philosophy on ethical eating, sustainable
food and
food wastage — the full program
of the
day is here.
In fact, I'm so excited by this
food day, I coordinated efforts with my
food blogging friends to share with you lots
of exciting peanut butter
day recipes!
I love
blogging — it's my glorified journal - but most
of my
days I spend behind the scenes as the owner
of MBS Recipe Development; a cullinary studio specializing in
food development, photography, prop styling, and
food styling in Dallas, Texas.

Half the fun
of my early
days of blogging in Cambodia was taking the piss out
of travel journalists parachuting in for the weekend, who filed the same
food story about spiders and then retreated to cooler climes.

I wouldnt go back to my office job ever but the one nice thing was that I always knew that I was done and free from 5 pm until 9 am the next
day whereas with
blogging (and I'm running both a
food and a travel blog) it seems that theres a never ending amount
of stuff I could be doing or improving, that it makes it hard to just put out
of your mind sometimes.
We always end up laughing the
day away and talking
blogging when we get together as well as sharing our love
of good
food and shopping.

A couple
of days ago, I had a very interesting meeting with some
of the folks at GfK, a global market research firm that recently released a report about the growth
of grain - free pet
foods in pet stores — a report that I
blogged about here.
Our own Alexa ranking has recently been the lowest it has ever been in our four years
of blogging at Grantourismo and our PR recently dropped because we haven't been
blogging as much as we used to because we've been so busy doing our
day jobs (travel and
food writers, and my husband's a photographer).
