There is
a dead pedal for the driver, but the brake pedal seems just a touch too high for comfort.
A rattle had already developed around the steering column, despite the truck having less than 2,000 miles, the release on the gear shifter pinches fingers if grabs a certain way, the driver's floorboard lacks
a dead pedal for left - leg support, and the lack of a push - button start is surprising at this price point.
There is no touchscreen infotainment system, rear A / C vents,

As in other 500s, the sitting position is fairly high; we liked the large
dead pedal but found the steering wheel, which adjusts
for rake but not reach, to be pretty far away.
The seats have been redesigned, which is good, but we still found the driving position awkward
for lack of a driver's
dead pedal.
For instance, the
dead pedal is only about half as wide as my size - 13 hoof, and the left half of my foot is asleep.
Finding a comfortable driving position is aided by a tilt wheel, but the lack of a

for a V6 engine, CVT tends to lose momentum when you lift your foot off of the gas
pedal — often jerky when accelerating and decelerating while in motion and when accelerating from a
dead stop; as mentioned by another reviewer, accelerator hesitates before catching when shifting from reverse to drive; bumps in the road are not well absorbed (the 2016 model may have addressed this issue); no power to windows after you shut off the engine; no auto door locks; poor V6 fuel efficiency averaging around 24 MPGs combined; trunk lid's arms and safety feature makes it heavy and sometimes hard to lift open; Infotainment system does understand most voice commands; and Harmon Kardon speakers are sometimes crackly.
On models equipped with an automatic gearbox, there are stainless steel
pedals for the throttle, brake, and
dead pedal.
The console array may be a little busy
for some tastes and the lack of a
dead pedal tiring.
It also had a wimpy
dead pedal, misplaced
for our left feet.
