Xenoblade Chronicles X was a fantastic game that game that came to
a dead system.
But a broken system isn't
a dead system and there is... eh, has been... much to recommend it.
Fans have been clamoring for Codemasters to release a version of the game free of Microsoft's now
dead system.
I really doubt the availability of the game on
a dead system that nobody bought would have any effect on the Switch version, so why open yourself up to even a small amount of bad PR by doing this?
There may not be as many as there once were, but the Vita isn't quite
a dead system yet.

Remember, the Wii U is basically dead at this point, best to let Zelda U do well on NX (like Twilight Princess) rather than die unloved on

Despite the fact it's on
