One was a typical team
deathmatch mode while the other was called Warpath, essentially a King of the Hill mode in which the hill changes its location over time.

Unfortunately
while the game is fun in co-op, the same can not be said for its multiplayer
mode that offers a variety of different
modes including the classic
Deathmatch and Dominion but also has some new additions like Distance King and No Cross
mode.
The first being your standard team
deathmatch,
while the second will be a Battle Royale game
mode similar to what you'd have in Player Unknown Battlegrounds or Fortnite: Battle Royale, except on a much smaller scale.
While the past two games introduced — then refined — multiplayer for the series, the new additions of domination and Wolfpack
modes add even more satisfying team - ups to the standard
deathmatch and team
deathmatch of past games.
As always, the maps play a huge role in shaping the pace and tactical opportunities in both
deathmatch and team - based
modes, and
while the assortment of maps are visually somewhat underwhelming, the folks at Infinity Ward consistently create interesting spaces in which to play.
The multiplayer flavoured action features a range of traditional game - types, from capture the flag to team
deathmatch,
while the finished game will also include a singleplayer adventure
mode, and the ability to create and share your own maps.
I would have liked to have seen some form of competitive multiplayer from the PS4 version that would have included such game
modes as
deathmatch, team
deathmatch, capture the flag and king of the hill, amongst other game
modes,
while set on the full - scale destructible environments found within each of the procedurally generated environments from the single player and co-op
modes with the progressive upgrades system, customisable loadout and support for two to four players.
Team
Deathmatch is the latest addition to the repertoire of versus
modes available and it's a ton of fun as two teams to try to decimate one another
while also keeping an eye on their number of respawn tickets remaining.
However,
while such
modes provide fleeting enjoyment, the missions are let down by the fact that the small maps and only one life a match lead to very short rounds, with only the classic
Deathmatch and Domination having any real legs.
With the standard fare of multiplayer
modes such as
Deathmatch and Domination, the title ticks all the boxes of an online shooter,
while also bringing different, albeit not entirely original,
modes that spice up the game.
We want our signature launch
mode — a 4 Player Free For All
Deathmatch — to be action packed
while also giving Players the need and ability to master advanced environment movement, learn and exploit enemy tells, and form clever strategies that pay off in big victories!
While we didn't get a lot of insight into any of the multiplayer
modes that'll inevitably consume the vast majority of the world's bandwidth this November (underwater team
deathmatch?)
The first is Clan Battle, a team
deathmatch for up to eight players enlivened by some backstabbing,
while the other is Ninja Trials, a co-op challenge
mode.
As such, it made several tweaks to the cover system,
while adding the Team
Deathmatch mode to the multiplayer.
While the
Deathmatch modes are mostly FPS driven, there is some small elements of RTS included such as spawning of a Droid to assist you).
Submission and Guardian have also been replaced by the self explanatory and noticeably more intense Capture the Leader,
while the new Team
Deathmatch and King of the Hill
modes offer traditional alternatives that were much needed.
There are lots of
modes, including ordinary options such as
Deathmatches, Domination, Capture the Flag and more,
while also boasting less typical
modes such as ASE Basketball and Balloon Battle.
The game does have a few different
modes outside of its Campaign and usual death match
modes, and
while the real meat of the gameplay exists in its
deathmatches, playing things like Puzzle Mode can offer a nice change of pace — giving you scenarios with limited resources or special conditions that you have to meet by using the tools at your disposal efficiently.
For the first time ever you could interact with fellow CoD enthusiast outside the competitive
deathmatch modes,
while competing in Cage Match style competitions, practicing with custom classes, viewing challenges, taking part in random events, and testing out scorestreaks was a great way to learn the ropes and showcase your skills.

Deathmatch (Teammates vs. Opposing Team War)- Specialist (Free for all, except you'll be given a new gun every time you kill an enemy)- Survival (Player vs. an army of enemies, you only have one chance to survive) Along the way progressing,
while you Rank and Level up, you'll unlock New Maps, Guns, Armor, Perks and Helmets
The Strike
mode condenses Galactic Assault into less hectic encounters for teams of eight,
while the Blast
mode is your basic 10v10 team
deathmatch encounters.
Team
Deathmatch is exactly what it sounds like,
while Plunder is a capture the flag - style
mode that has you stealing and returning an idol to a treasure chest to win points.
All told there are five
modes to choose from: Dominion, which feels like a cross between a MOBA and Capture the Flag in which you push your soldiers forward
while taking control points, Elimination (read:
Deathmatch), Skirmish, which is a race to 1,000 points by way of killing enemy heroes and soldiers, and then Brawl (2v2) and Duel (1v1)
modes for the true tests of mettle.
In a game of Attrition (basically Team
Deathmatch) there's always the tug between two teams as each vies for a victory,
while this simple struggle is made far more nuanced in a game of Bounty Hunt, a new
mode that has each team killing for cash, with temporary opportunities to bank all the money you've earned.
The Last Man Standing
mode is exactly what you'd expect with everyone on a single life
while Deathmatch allows respawns with the aim being to kill as many opponents as possible.
While the promised downloadable content and level editor has failed to materialise, Kuju have come through with the multiplayer, which is available in
deathmatch and cooperative flavours via both Ad Hoc and Infrastructure
modes.
