Hubble also spied a dark gap dividing an even larger
disk of
debris around a star called
HD 141569, the first such clearing seen within a
disk.
Arcs, rings and spirals appear in the
debris disk around the star
HD 141569A.
(4) Does the «typical» circumstellar
disk states of primary star + Kuiper Belt Star show evidence for material from each of the different kinds of small outer solar system bodies (Comets, Centaurs, KBOs) like the active comet
debris in HR4796A and the icy KBO
debris in Fomalhaut and
HD 32297?
Abstract: We present $ H$ - band scattered light imaging of a bright
debris disk around the A0 star
HD 36546 obtained from the Subaru Coronagraphic Extreme Adaptive Optics (SCExAO) system with data recorded by the HiCIAO camera using the vector vortex coronagraph.
The survey also led to spatially resolved images of the thin
debris disk around
HD \, 61005 that have been published earlier.
Besides this exotic object
HD 74389, our paper reports thirty two other new
debris disk candidates that we found and it describes a new detection of 22 micron excess from a previously known
debris disk host: the star
HD 22128.
Independent of the interpretation for
HD 61005, we expect that interstellar gas drag likely plays a role in producing asymmetries observed in other
debris disk systems, such as
HD 15115 and Delta - Velorum.
