The dark side is only the madness of the
imaginations, misgivings, and assumptions of humans, fueled
by the
deceiving lies of the demonic adversary.

by the very opposite conduct to keep as free as possible of these deceptions, that he himself may not adopt any illicit way of deriving some advantage from the Good (earning money, distinction, and admiration) and so that he may
deceive no one
by a figment of the

Even as the film turns into something downright seditious
by asking probing questions about the lies that we, in our world, may be dealing with on a daily basis without ever realizing they may well be lies, it also recognizes a positive side to our ability to
deceive and conceive: not only do we brighten our world and enrich our lives with how we use our
imaginations, but — the film wonders — is it wrong to tell a lie if it makes someone happy?
Yet because such things often happen
by illusion are merely in the
imagination, those who suppose that all the effects of witchcraft are mere illusion and
imagination are very greatly
deceived.
