There isn't even
a decent weapon upgrade system or fun collectibles to find, you just get more powerful as you play and improve a few basic attributes that feel meaningless during the game.
You're rewarded for your efforts aptly, however; between
decent weapon upgrades, boost bonuses, multipliers and extra lives, it's always in your interest to save as many little green people as possible.

That aside the only other thing i felt Dark Void was lacking was

upgrade package to the

weapons at a
decent pace.
