The excellent seat width has been achieved by keeping the Premium
Economy cabin on the lower
deck of the A380 (where the aircraft is widest) and by keeping the number of seats in a row down to just 8 (in a 2 -4-2 layout).

deck with a small

cabin in the back (some have the entire upper
deck as Business).
The lower
deck Standard and Quad
cabins have shared bathrooms and are an excellent

cabin at the front of the upper
deck, which was way smaller then the other 8 row
cabin in front of the premium
economy section.
