I need to upgrade my camera but
until I do, I'll just be in awe of yours:) I just finished
decorating our
house and tree which has to be the best feeling ever, right?!
I am not going to get to
decorate for Fall anytime soon with all of our stuff in storage
until we buy a
house, and I'm already itching to do it!
I've been struggling to find my
decorating «voice» in my newest
house and this blog and a few others have finally helped me pinpoint what I'm trying to do since «cottage, but more eclectic» was the closest description I could come to
until now.
I'm starting my
decorating today and I'm hoping to lock myself in the
house until I'm finished!!
I've been working on the bones of my
house for several years now, pushing the «
decorating» off
until I am finished... it's been tough, let me say!
I agree... I thought I was the only one that liked how I
decorated my
house... (the others just live here and put up with it...)
UNTIL..
But a
house can't become a real home
until you can let yourself
decorate it and remodel it to fit your own particular family.
When we moved in our
house in 2016, we decided not to
decorate our living room
until we start the kitchen / dining room remodel..
Until then, I'll be going out my «gourd» with burlap and pumpkins as I get the
house ready for fall
decorating!
Now that the
house is
decorated, and presents are bought and wrapped, I feel like I'm ready to relax and enjoy family and friends from now
until the big day!
But
until then... More fall
decorating has been happening around the

As a home buyer, you can find a great
house that has potential, but it doesn't feel like home
until you've
decorated and remodeled it to your needs and wants.
I grew up in a
house where we didn't
decorate until Dec 15th and boy was that to late.
