Decorating for Fall
I go all out on Christmas
decorating, but I keep it very subtle
for fall as you'll see here.
Each year, I tend to use early
fall as an excuse to
decorate for Halloween, which is my favorite holiday (besides my birthday, which, yes, is a holiday).
I normally will do a little bit of
decorating for the
fall and hubby likes to
decorate for Halloween but
as our son is due on Halloween, I don't want to do too much because I'd have to put it all away and the timing is off.
With that being said, this week I've been busy
decorating our home
for fall as Jake was finalizing his residency applications.
For those of us that do
decorate our homes seasonally, the start of
fall decorating starts
as early
as August!
Beautifully
decorated for Fall and harvest

I also shopped around our house this year
for most of my
decorating pieces just
as I did with my neutral
fall mantel.
I do like
decorating for fall - but definitely don't put out
as much
as Christmas.

as enormous of an undertaking, and I can pretty much get it done in a day.
I really think
fall is my favorite season
as far
as decorating goes
for all the reasons you pointed out.
Until then, I'll be going out my «gourd» with burlap and pumpkins
as I get the house ready
for fall decorating!
I tried to re-use
as much stuff
as I could, but since I've never had a mantel to
decorate for Fall, I didn't already have a ton of stuff to work with.
The
fall burlap bunting was actually something I made
for our shelves last year -LCB- I used them
as a faux mantel

As someone who has been called «the Grinch» regarding my attitude towards holiday decorations (by my sister - in - law no less:), I just needed proof that I
