Well, she finished it recently and although I had planned to hang it above our bed, I was inspired to do a little mantel
decorating around it this week!

The last two
weeks around here have been a holiday
decorating frenzy, with lots of crafts, stringing lights, and making things, all in preparation for today, my holiday home tour.

around saying «Bun,» pointing to each Bunny with a huge smile (like she knew we put the bunny there in her honor).

decorating the porch with fall decor I was sweating so bad, I had to keep going inside for air conditioning and water breaks, but none the less I got my fall fix this

We
decorated the living and dining rooms for the (winter) article, and I «Fall - ified» the front porch the
week before last, so we've got a couple of different looks going on
around here right now - ha!?
Each
week will look something like this — I will share one of my own fall
decorating projects from this year (mantel, tablescape, porch...), a new fall craft I have made (wreath, pillow, centerpiece...), inspiration from
around the web and Pinterest focusing on a different fall object or theme (acorns, pumpkins, pinecones...) and I will be sharing some favorite fall recipes on the weekends.
I tend to
decorate and then rearrange and fluff and move things
around for a couple of
weeks until I'm happy with the result — so that's the stage I'm at now.
But for now... With this warm weather, It really hasn't been feeling like fall
around here even though I had
decorated around the house a few
weeks ago.

decorated our home for fall and photographed these pictures several
weeks ago (hence the lack of pumpkins and orange leaves — none to be found in August
around these parts!).
