I really wanted to get this done because I am SO behind on
decorating things around my house.

My
decorating style is shabby chic / hand - me - down at best and these days I'm not really devoting much time to
things around the
house.
I'd probably buy some clothes for my daughter and purchase some
things for
decorating around the
house.
I
decorated the mantel with some
things I had
around the
house: books (one wrapped, one not wrapped because I love the title!)
After a nice, big lunch with family, I finished
decorating the entry table with
things I gathered from
around the
house today.
As always, I'm shopping the
house and moving
things around to
decorate for fall.
I like having enough room in my
house to feel comfortable with
things I love to have
around me, the type of
decorating I enjoy doing and the kind of entertaining we want to do as a family.
Oh, now you can buy the
house you are in, and paint, and hang
things on the walls, and change
things around, and... and... and... What
decorating bliss yet to be experienced in the months to come!
And once again, I strive to
decorate my mantel with
things I already have on hand, pulling
things from all
around the
house, and not buying anything or much of anything.
Although there are some
things that just don't make sense to put up yet, like Christmas trees or holiday lights, there are a number of ways to
decorate for the fall season
around your
house without having to take everything down for Christmas.
I enjoy
decorating my table to reflect a casual, cottage style using
things that I have
around my
house.
Do not be afraid to use what you find
around the
house; you will be surprised how
things will beautifully come together once you are done with with
decorating.
While I am in a bit of a
decorating lull and
things around my
house are in limbo (OK, my whole world is in limbo), life is still good.
I love to
decorate and I am always redoing
things around my
house.
