Motorola decided to chuck the
dedicated camera button that sat on the bottom right
side.
There's a
dedicated camera key on the right
side of the phone so it's easy to find.
On one
side, you see the volume rocker close to Sony's signature rounded silver power button and a
dedicated camera shutter button.

The phone's right
side includes covered microSIM and microSD card slots, as well as the power key, volume rocker, and a
dedicated camera activation button, which doubles as a shooting button.
Taking a look around the device, the headphone jack and the microUSB port are at the top and bottom respectively, and the right
side houses not only the volume rocker and the power button, but also a
dedicated two - stage
camera shutter button and a video record button.
On the left
side of the phone, you get a volume rocker and Micro-USB port; there's a microSD expansion slot and
dedicated camera key on the right.
As for the other keys, the volume rocker is located on the upper left
side, while the power / standby button and the
dedicated camera key are both on the right.
On the right
side of the Z2, there is another flap that covers the microSD slot, along with a power button, volume rocker switch, and a
dedicated camera button.
On the right
side is an indented power button (housing the fingerprint sensor on the European edition of the X), volume rocker, and a
dedicated camera shutter, with a combined SIM / microSD tray over on the left.

camera and is very convenient, but having all the buttons on the right makes the whole
side feel quite cluttered.
It's powered by the MediaTek MT6755 chipset, has 2 GB of RAM, and is equipped with a 13 MP primary
camera as well as a
dedicated camera button on the right

The edges of the new Shadow have a healthy number of controls discretely recessed in, including a top power button,
side volume rocker,
dedicated camera button, and an info button that can basically be customized to do whatever you want it to, making a clean shortcut to your most - used applications.
Both the Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 come with a 9 - megapixel
camera on the back

side of the screen, and a few quick options on the opposite
side.
The volume rocker right below it and the
dedicated camera shutter button at the bottom of the right
side don't leave a lot of room to comfortably rest your thumb on this
side of the device though.
Around the
sides you'll spy a volume rocker, power button,
dedicated camera shutter button, micro-USB port and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to launch with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 processor (depending on region), a QHD Super AMOLED display, a 12 - megapixel rear
camera, an 8 - megapixel front shooter, an iris scanner, a rear - mounted fingerprint scanner, no physical home button, a
dedicated Bixby button on the right
side, USB Type - C, and Android Nougat on board out of the box.
An added bonus on the right hand
side of the Ascend P2 is the inclusion of a
dedicated shutter key towards the base of the handset, giving you instant access to the
camera app as well as an easy way to snap photos.
The Xperia XZ1 also features a
dedicated camera key on the right
side of the handset, giving you a two - step shutter for easier shooting, as well as a way to quick launch the
camera app no matter where you are on the phone.
Signature elements of the design make a return, with the big silver power button found on its
side, with the volume rocker and
dedicated camera shutter button found below it.
Likewise there is no
dedicated camera button on the
side of the Samsung Galaxy S, which is something we'd like to see because it makes the startup process and actual picture taking a lot easier, but we'll not hold that one against Samsung too much.
The Lumia also has a
dedicated camera button on its
side, while the rest of the smartphones we tested let you use the volume button to activate the shutter (by default on some, programmable on others).
On the
sides, again, everything is almost the same — volume rocker buttons on the right alongside the power button, and there is a
dedicated camera shutter button as well.
We are missing the
dedicated camera button on the
side and a front - facing
camera.
Like other Windows Phone 7 handsets there are tight guidelines as to what it can and can't offer, and so that means you get three buttons (back / Start / search) underneath the screen and a series of
dedicated camera and volume buttons around the
sides.
Power button and volume rocker is on the right

The loudspeaker is on the front, and the power button, volume rocker, and a

side (though at this time they don't yet actually launch into the

Sony's latest flagship, the Xperia Z2, retains a lot of what we love about its previous editions, with the same slate design, down to the iconic silver power button and
dedicated camera shutter button to the
side.
