It's very slim, has a beautiful 9.7 - inch display, and offers access to the best selection
of dedicated tablet apps that you'll find.
However, Honeycomb is still a sapling and while the A500 is backwards - compatible with older Android 2.x apps, there are precious
few dedicated tablet apps out there that make full use of the pixels and screen inches of a full - size tablet like this.
The Nexus 7's Play Store is still light
on dedicated tablet apps, but stretched - out phone apps are useable on a 7 - inch display.
Even so, Apple's mobile operating system has a better selection
of dedicated tablet apps and this gives it an edge over its Android rivals.
Blackboard Mobile is available at the Google Play store, but it might just be a blown up smartphone version, not
a dedicated tablet app.
