«The name of this series is borrowed from May Sarton, a poet and author whose writings on solitude and
her deep connection to the natural world spoke deeply to me many years ago when I was living in the country, gardening, and reading her books.
By shooting this flower «arrangement» though glass and tissue paper and zooming in with a close crop, the flowers become less identifiable and more universal as organic forms, meant to evoke dreams, emotions and memories of our own
