After I made it through the Whole30 the first time, I found myself snacking less, eating less bread items, and
definitely eating more vegetables.

I agree with you about trying to have kids only snack on fruits and
vegetables, especially if they are hungry before dinnertime, and I try to do the same, but I am
definitely guilty of
eating more than necessary at most meals, especially if we
eat in a restaurant.
Lacto - vegetarians
eat milk / dairy products, which contain lesser amounts of this amino acid, but
definitely more than
vegetable sources.
Perhaps it's the
vegetables...
definitely eating more than normal but I'm still not seeing any of the positive stomach aspects, haven't lost any weight (although I take the scale with a grain of salt and don't check it often) and have really followed the food list.
