There's
definitely merit in
learning things the
hard way - sometimes you just have to try things and grow from the experience.
Starting with no grammar or dictionary, indeed not one written word to aid them, missionaries have
learned the oral language, often without benefit of any interpreter —
definitely the
hard way — worked out an alphabet, reduced it to writing, prepared a grammar and dictionary, translated some portions into the newly written tongue, then had to teach the natives to read their own language in order to read the Bible.
I just
learned the
hard way that they are

I know it doesn't seem like a huge change to make if you're used to it, but it can be

learning curve to be precise).
Repairing that takes a looonnnng time, which I've

hard way, but I can promise, it's
definitely possible which I now know.
While I could
definitely open a bottle of ginger beer for my Moscow Mules with any
hard surface (a trick I
learned in college), this is
definitely a classier
way to get the job done.
Being able to say «no» and stand up for yourself is something that I encourage all of my friends to do, and it is
definitely a skill that I had to
learn the
hard way.
Most of the wisdom you share through these articles I can really understand and relate to, unfortunately I
learnt the
hard way but do now
definitely view the markets with a different perspective.
Always being open to
learning more, asking ourselves
hard questions and considering new
ways to approach old challenges will
definitely help!
It is so encouraging to see our
hard work pay off — but we've
definitely stumbled along the
way and
learned a hell of a lot.
