This is not the first book I have read about the internment of Japanese and Japanese Americans during World War II and the plight of POWs in Japanese camps, but it is definitely more heart - wrenching, as it includes the pain and regret of things said and done, or not said or done.

Am nowhere near your numbers, but I did run a free book listing for my nonfiction memoir CONTACT a few months ago with Bookbub and got about 12,000 downloads which I thought was pretty amazing as not everyone wants to read a memoir of a soldier and combat etc......
